Earlier this year, we introduced our Artemis Micro Welding Gantry, specifically designed for automated welding of profiles, micro panels and subassemblies.
Next in line is the official launch of our patented TrueScanning Technology, which facilitates scanning and sensing of the items placed randomly in the working area. Once the scanning is completed, the data is automatically converted into a 3D model without operator intervention. Scan and start!
Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd invests in 4 panel welding gantries.
The thin-plate plane assembly line is an important process equipment for the final assembly of China's first large cruise ships. The demand for welding automation provides a guarantee for the modernization of the shipyard's technological equipment.
This article (in Dutch) recently featured in a renowned Dutch welding magazine. It describes the need for smaller shipyards in the Netherlands to automate the welding processes and to produce more efficient. The Artemis Micro Welding Gantry can help improve the competitive position of Dutch shipyards.
The special delivery of this 26 meter long and 18 ton heavy welding gantry beam marks the beginning of a special project. Robotic welding of heavy steel offshore oil platform decks with adaptive welding technology.
Automated robotic welding system with 1 or 2 robots, specially designed for the automated welding of profiles, micro panels, sub assemblies and T-beams. Boosts production and optimizes product quality and shopfloor safety.
These principles can help you to establish an efficient profile production line. By integrating all related processes into one complete solution, output of the cutting shop can be maximized. This solution drastically reduces the time necessary to properly fit and tack stiffeners onto steel plates. The Stiffener Mounting Gantry is equipped with 6 heavy duty magnets on a primary mounting beam with a combined lifting capacity of 3500 lbs (1.600 kg). The hydraulic powered cylinders that carry the magnets can be operated individually, allowing to pick up built-up stiffeners with different heights along the flange.
On Wednesday 28 April 2021, KRANENDONK successfully launched the Artemis Micro Welding Gantry during the official online product launch. Participants from more than 30 countries and from 5 different continents were united in this event. During a 45 minute livestream, KRANENDONK demonstrated their latest robotic welding solution to a global audience.
