What does your day look like?

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the complete flow of materials throughout our organization, ensuring transparency for all internal stakeholders. You will lead the Work Preparation department and collaborate closely with Engineering, Assembly, and Service (CSD). You’ll be responsible for the procurement of all technical components used in our projects and products. You coordinate delivery schedules with internal stakeholders and ensure that materials arrive on time and meet the required quality standards.

You will manage international procurement processes and, in close cooperation with Engineering, identify and oversee long lead items such as robots, motors, and gearboxes. You maintain relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek new partners worldwide. You will negotiate contracts and related (payment) terms, ensuring continuity of supply and managing the associated cash flows.

In addition, you will be responsible for inventory management, including parts for service and maintenance. You will work closely with our service department to efficiently manage spare and wear parts in our advanced warehouse. Using our ERP system (Ridder), you will continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize processes within your scope.

What are you bringing?

We are looking for someone with a completed bachelor’s degree in (technical) business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. You have strong analytical skills and strategic insight. You also have experience with supply chain management in a technical project environment, and knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and ERP systems. You possess excellent communication skills and have a hands-on mentality. In addition, you are proactive and capable of getting others on board in managing the material flow.
