As a Senior Software Engineer, you are jointly responsible for the entire development process of the ARAC framework. This includes requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing, ranging from device drivers to user interfaces. Every sprint, you and your team deliver a new, functional, and tested version of the software.
Your daily tasks involve analyzing requirements and issues, designing solutions using UML, and implementing them in Visual Studio. You also write unit tests to test the code and document new functionality as needed. Many of these tasks require collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines, such as robot application engineers or PLC engineers.
Due to your extensive experience, you serve as a valuable sounding board for the team leader and a source of knowledge for other colleagues within the team. You stay updated on the latest developments in C# and .NET, as well as other trends within your field. This enables you to contribute to innovation within the team and the organization as a whole.
You provide support to other departments within the organization in using the ARAC software, ensuring the successful completion of customer-specific projects. Even after delivery, you assist support engineers in analyzing and resolving customer issues.
