What does your day look like?

On Monday, you start the week with a team meeting where the sprint planning is discussed. You write down your tasks and choose your priorities for the day. You start with programming and testing simulations in RobotStudio. You make sure the stiffeners are placed in the right positions with a pick-and-place robot. A colleague calls you in between and asks for help. You put on your work shoes and go to the assembly hall. After reviewing the technical specifications, the solution turns out to be simpler than expected. You apply it and make sure the machine is ready for the Factory Acceptance Test that you will conduct next week with the customer.

After lunch, you set up the HMI according to the customer's specifications. It could be setting up the screen content, buttons, warning messages and other aspects of the user interface. You also ensure optimal implementation of our own RinasWeld and Arac5 software. Then it's time to set up and test the Robox, our demo robot. In two weeks, you'll fly with this robot to a customer in Norway to provide training. Then you start writing a handover to Customer Support for a completed Goliath project. You'll provide a clear picture of the machine's status. That's settled. Before you know it, the day is over.
