After grabbing a coffee, you head straight to the process lab where several test robots are set up. You start the day with a brief meeting and discuss which tests will be carried out today. You review the procedures and parameters you previously set. You start the robot and test various positions, orientations, and process challenges from the market. You pay close attention to the process parameters and robot positions. During testing, you notice that the result is not quite satisfactory, but after making some adjustments to the parameters, the problem seems to be solved.
In addition to testing, you are also often involved in resolving problems on ongoing projects. This can range from a robot that is no longer handling loads properly to substandard cutting quality. This work can take place both at the office and at customer locations around the world. You are constantly looking for ways to improve and make the processes more efficient. At the end of the day, before going home, you work on setting up a quality inspection system. This will help to further improve the quality of the cutting, milling, and welding processes.
