You start your day at the office with a cup of coffee and then log in to COBRA. You filter priorities, such as sick and recovery reports, and schedule other tasks for later in the day. Meanwhile, your HR colleague has also started, and together, you hold a short daily meeting to efficiently distribute tasks. This way, you can approach actions in the most efficient way possible.
As an HR Assistant, you are responsible for various administrative tasks such as drafting contracts, preparing and modifying start and termination of employment, processing and confirming changes in employment conditions, coordinating and scheduling meetings, and maintaining salary and absence records.
While processing an employment contract for a new employee, a colleague comes in with an HR related question. After helping the colleague, you continue with your administration work.
In the afternoon, you check if all employees have filled in their hour accounts for the past weeks so that necessary reports can be generated on time, and you can prepare the output for the next payroll run.
At the end of the day, you receive an email from our recruiter with the request to invite a candidate for a second interview. You check the availability of the team leads' schedules, send the meeting request, and book the meeting room. Then, you tidy up your workspace and end the day.
