'Life time achievement award' from ABB Robotics
June 27th, during the value provider conference at the beautiful Artipelag venue in Stockholm, KRANENDONK was honored with the ‘Life time achievement award’ by ABB Robotics. Justin Geraerds (Sales Manager) and Sander Voerman (Marketing Manager), received the award out of the hands of Per Vegard Nerseth, Managing Director of ABB Robotics.
KRANENDONK and ABB Robotics have a long lasting relationship, dating all the way back to the ASEA era. Arie Kranendonk, founder and acting president of the Dutch company, which started in a garage, invented his first robotic solution in 1988. This was the first step in a journey towards many innovative solutions. From the heart both companies are inventors, explaining the close and long lasting relationship between the two.
Until today, KRANENDONK has implemented over 300 ABB robots in shipyards, at offshore construction companies, structural steel fabricators, and many other customers all over the world. The solutions provided vary widely, but all have one focus: automation of non-repetitive production. Using ABB’s extended robotic knowledge and local service engineers enables KRANENDONK to keep focusing on innovations for the future to come.
KRANENDONK is very proud to have been given this award, a sign of appreciation and confidence.
