We know how to weld

The Artemis Micro Welding Gantry comes with 1 or 2 robots. A second robot increases production capacity and enables optional double fillet welding (2 robots welding on the same stiffener). This optimizes welding/product quality by limiting distortion from heat input.

The user interface of the shopfloor control system is called ACE. It controls the robots and the automatic production. The operator can also control functions manually, such as a wire cut or moving the robots into the parking position.

If the maximum product height of 500mm is exceeded, the light fences are automatically triggered. For products higher than 500mm, the safety fences can be placed at the beginning and end of the working area.

After a variable amount of welding meters, the cup of the torch is cleaned and new anti-spatter spray is applied. The operator can also manually trigger a laser- or torch calibration, to guarantee straightness of the torch and quality of the welds.
