Buying, installing and commissioning a production system is the start, but it is the years of production that makes the difference. To assist you in achieving this difference, Kranendonk has a highly skilled, dedicated service staff at your service. Strategically located on multiple locations worldwide, our team can assist you 24 hours a day from multiple time zones.

Inspection & maintenance

The challenge for the management of plant facilities is to avoid unplanned breakdowns. The keys to avoid these breakdowns are inspection and maintenance. A good service program will lessen the incidence of corrective maintenance through early detection and preventive actions.

Preventative maintenance

Our service engineers visit your facility on regular scheduled basis to check mechanical and electrical wear and tear, make backups of the data system, replace defective parts and lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance and minimize deterioration of your production system. A maintenance manual, which will be supplied with every system, will guide your plant service engineers on how to service the machine on daily basis.

Corrective maintenance

During preventive maintenance upcoming malfunctions in the production system can be detected and solved. Despite these regular checks a machine breakdown can occur. Our service engineers are able to provide online & remote service and solve problems right away. In case problems can not be solved online our service engineers will visit the facility and carry out the tests, measurements, adjustments and replacements needed to restore the defective item or fault causing the machine breakdown.

Online & remote assistance

The possibility to communicate directly with computer systems and PLC controllers on any customer site worldwide greatly enhances the possibilities to locate operational and functional problems from all our service desk locations. Many operator errors and system malfunctions can be solved very quickly without the need to travel to the customer.

Parts & consumables

When a customer has taken over a system from Kranendonk a spare parts list will be supplied. This list contains all items which a customer should have available onsite to keep the machine at the highest production level and lowest downtime. Spare parts which are not available onsite can be delivered quickly thanks to the many parts on stock at Kranendonk and agreements with local suppliers.

Training

Operating the system in a right way is essential in every production system. Sometimes, with the change of an operator the production level goes down. To prevent this, our service department offers a variety of training courses for operators, work preparation engineers and the maintenance department.

On-site training and production startup assistance

After installation and the production acceptance test on-site the production system is handed over to the customer. After that we will support during the production startup phase in providing training, assistance and advise.

Hardware & software upgrades

Besides training your employees and maintenance support our service contains more. Our software and engineering departments continiously work on improvements. We keep your production facility up-to-date with these software and hardware upgrades.

Programming support

Our customer service department can provide technical expertise and work with our customer to help them get optimal production results. If needed software adjustments, product or macro programming assistance can be provided through direct communication with computer systems on any customer site worldwide.
