Project approach

Adopting production automation is a major step. KRANENDONK therefore handles projects with precision and care. With its experience in automation of non-repetitive production processes, KRANENDONK often plays an important role in the early stages of the automation process. KRANENDONK advices on plant layouts, product flow and automation principles.

Project flow

Each project starts with an investigation of the customer’s production environment. Then, automation concepts and layout plans are made. The feasibility of principles or new processes is sometimes tested in the KRANENDONK head office in Tiel, The Netherlands. If the outcome is positive, detailed engineering and construction of the production system is done. The equipment is (partly) erected in Tiel, before it is shipped to the customer site. After shipment, the production system is installed and the customer receives training and assistance, to start-up the production.
