ARAC - robot production software
Robot programming automated with ARAC software
Robots are accurate, fast and do not need a break. The only deficit: you have to tell hem exactly what to do. At KRANENDONK we think the programming should be easy and fast. Besides that, the robot should adapt its robot program when deviations in the product occur. The developed ARAC software is able to do so.
The ARAC system is an open software, often used for cutting applications, but also for welding tasks. The production software makes use of parameters. These parameters exist of distances and angles. In a prefabricated layout the parameters are imported. Depending on the version used this is done manually, or with a direct CAD connection.
Tolerances in profiles and pipes are common in the industry. When tolerances are not taken in account, misfits may occur when assembling the several pieces. To prevent this from happening the ARAC software first measures the material. Using this information, an individual cutting program is made for each cut. Even the deviations of other profiles - for example the main girder in a large construction - can be taking into account.
The ARAC system is an open software. Therefore any desired cut can be programmed. KRANENDONK gives training in how to use and program the software.
